Scottie Scheffler will be looking to continue his great form on the 2021-22 PGA Tour when he takes part in the Valspar Championship.

The American star has been one of the most outstanding golfers this year having won the Waste Management Phoenix Open and Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Therefore, Scheffler's impressive form has seen him climb up on the Official World Golf Rankings and he is currently ranked fifth.

The year 2022 has proved to be Scheffler's breakthrough season on the PGA Tour having turned professional in 2019 and he was named Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year in the same year.

The New Jersey-born golfer won the Phoenix Open on the third hole of a sudden-death playoff against Patrick Cantlay last month.

Scheffler, who scooped the 2020 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year award, then clinched his second career PGA Tour title at the Arnold Palmer Invitational on March 6.

The 25-year-old won by one stroke over Viktor Hovland, Billy Horschel and Tyrrell Hatton as he continues to establish himself as one of the best golfers in the world.

“I’ve worked with TaylorMade’s team on Tour for multiple seasons and their commitment to getting the right equipment in my bag was a driving force in joining Team TaylorMade.

"Continuously working to get my game to the highest level will always be at the forefront of my approach and I am thrilled to combine my passion for success with that already established culture at TaylorMade.”

Paul Casey, K.J Choi and Retief Goosen are the most successful golfers in the history of the Valspar Championship having won the tournament a record twice.
