Western Conference leaders Phoenix Suns will be targeting a third consecutive home win when Toronto Raptors visit the Footprint Center on the morning of Saturday, March 12.
The Suns have played their last three games on the road, but secured back-to-back victories against the Portland Trail Blazers and the New York Knicks in Phoenix prior to that.
Monty Williams' team were outstanding in the opening months of the
NBA Regular Season as they went on an 18-game winning streak to put themselves in a commanding position in the West standings.
Landry Shamet stepped up in the absence of Chris Paul and Devin Booker to score 21 points for the Suns as they beat the Orlando Magic 102-99 on Wednesday, March 9.
"Everybody on the team tells him to shoot. Tonight it was impressive to see him step up and make big shot after big shot," Williams said of Shamet.
"This (new backcourt) develops a capacity for us to grow as a team. That's something that could pay off for us later on."
The Raptors are looking to snap a three-game losing sequence in an attempt to reach play-offs - they are currently one place outside the top six in the Eastern Conference.

The Toronto outfit lost ground to the six-placed Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday with a 104-96 defeat in Ohio, although Pascal Siakam and Chris Boucher scored 24 and 21 points respectively to keep the visitors in the contest until the final few minutes.
"We came in and knew what was at stake. So did they," Boucher said. "That's two good teams that were out there. Kudos to them. We would have liked to have the win, but those were two good teams playing."
The Suns won by a four-point margin in their previous meeting against the Raptors on January 11, with Jae Crowder contributing 19 points in a 99-94 victory.
