The
2023 Corales Puntacana Championship is scheduled to take place in Punta Cana, La Altagracia, Dominican Republic between 23 and 26 March.
What to know about the tournament
This tournament was established in 2016 and it was part of the Web.com Tour between 2016 and 2017 before being added to the PGA Tour schedule in 2018.
It is the first PGA Tour event held in the Dominican Republic and it is an alternate event - opposite to the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play in Austin, Texas, USA.
American golfer Dominic Bozzelli set the tournament record in 2016 with a winning score of −24 (69-63-64-68=264) and four strokes with the event being organised by Grupo Puntacana.

Grupo Puntacana have announced that local talent will be represented by Dominican players Juan José Guerra, Radhamés Peña, and Hiram Silfa at the 2023 Corales Puntacana Championship.
Silfa, in addition to Puerto Rican Chris Nido, qualified through their participation in the 2022-23 Canita Tour.

This year's Corales Puntacana Championship field is headlined by the likes of Joel Dahmen, Akshay Bhatia, Wyndham Clark and Charley Hoffman.
Past tournament champions Chad Ramey (2022), Joel Dahmen (2021), and Brice Garnett (2018) have confirmed their participation.
Meanwhile, Nate Lashley and Dominic Bozzelli, winners of the Korn Ferry Tour in 2017 and 2016, will also tee off at the Puntacana Resort and Club.
What Is At Stake
The event will offer Official World Golf Ranking points to the winner, with final points ratings determined ahead of the tournament teeing off on Thursday.
The field will be competing for a $3,8 million purse and the winner's share is $684,000. The winner will also lift a trophy which is made up of glass.
