Atletico Madrid will go head to head with Valencia CF in a Spanish La Liga match at the Estádio Cívitas Metropolitano on March 18.
Current Form
The Mattress Makers hammered Sevilla FC 6-1 at home on March 4 and they extended their unbeaten run to eight matches in the league.
Atletico are also undefeated in their last four matches at home having recorded one draw and three victories at the Estádio Cívitas Metropolitano.
While Valencia CF claimed a 1-0 win over CA Osasuna away on March 11 and it was their second win in their last three matches in La Liga.
The Bats are enduring an eight-match winless run on the road having registered two draws and six successive defeats as the away side.
What Is At Stake 
Atletico are placed third on the league standings - 11 points behind third-placed Real Madrid, but the Mattress Makers have a game in hand.
Diego Simeone's side will be determined to secure a victory over Valencia who are enduring a poor season. 
Valencia are placed 17th on the league standings - level on points with 18th-placed Getafe CF and they cannot afford to lose to Atletico.
Team News
The Madrid giants have no suspension worries and Reinildo Mandava is the only player on Atletico's injury-list as he nurses a long-term injury.
While Valencia will be without Edinson Cavani who is currently injured and Jaume Doménech who is suspended.

Memphis Depay, who grabbed a brace in Atletico's big win over Sevilla, has established himself as one of the Mattress Makers' most influential players. 
While Valencia will pin their hopes of defeating Atletico on pacey Justin Kluivert who has snatched the winning goal against Osasuna.

"I hope to score many more. I saw [Samuel] Lino with the ball and I attacked the space," Kluivert said after scoring against Osasuna.
"But I want so much more. We have many important games ahead of us and I want to score many more goals.
"We have a big game coming up away from home [against Atletico]. We are ready. We have won today and we are going to train very hard during the week."
Atletico emerged as 1-0 winners over Valencia in their last meeting in La Liga with the match taking place at the Estadio de Mestalla on 29 August 2022.
As a result, the Mattress Makers' are undefeated in their last 16 matches against Bats having registered 10 wins and six draws.
