The former Italian champions will be determined to reduce the gap between them by defeating Sampdoria who are keen to avoid relegation.

Sampdoria are placed 20th on the league standings and they will be desperate for a win in order to ease their relegation fears.

Team News

Juventus trio of Mattia De Sciglio, Kaio Jorge and Arkadiusz Milik are all injured and the club has no suspension concerns.

On the other hand, Sampdoria also don't have suspension concerns, but Ignacio Pussetto, Andrea Conti, Jeison Murillo, Filip Djuricic, Emirhan Ilkhan and Sam Lammers are currently injured.

Key Players

Dusan Vlahovic, who is Juventus' top scorer with eight goals in the Serie A this season, could be the man to propel the Old Lady to a victory against Sampdoria.

Quotes

"We knew we would face difficulties, Roma are a tough team, they don't give up. In the first half we could have done more," Allegri said after their clash with Roma.

"But they ran a lot, as was shown by the cramps many of their players had. By the end of the first half, they were already dropping back, with their midfielders, but unfortunately, we conceded a goal, in a situation where we could have defended better.

"Kean Moise? He made a mistake, he apologised, but he made a mistake because he put the team in difficulty. It's a lesson to be learned."

Head-to-Head

The two teams played to a 0-0 draw in their last meeting in the league which was on 22 August 2022 at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris.

The draw extended the Old Lady's unbeaten run against the Blue-Circled to seven matches in the Serie A having recorded six wins and one draw.
