2025/26 Premier League

Matchday 31

Everton FC v Chelsea FC

Hill Dickinson Stadium

Liverpool, England

Saturday, 21 March 2026

Kick-off is at 17h30

Everton FC will be keen to derail Chelsea FC's push for the top Premier League positions when they meet at Hill Dickinson Stadium on 21 March.

Current Form

The Toffees were beaten 2-0 by Arsenal FC on 14 March, as their two-match unbeaten run in the English top-flight came to an end.

However, Everton claimed a win over Burnley FC in their last home match, and the victory ended their six-match winless run at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Chelsea were beaten 1-0 by Newcastle United on 14 March, and it was their second defeat in their last three matches in the league.

However, the Blues have won two of their last three away matches in the Premier League, while the other game ended in a defeat as the visitors.

Team News

James Tarkowski, Jarrad Branthwaite, Jack Grealish, Charly Alcaraz, and Seamus Coleman are the Everton players who are unavailable due to injury, with no suspension worries.

Chelsea, on the other hand, has Estevao Willian, Jamie Gittens, and Levi Colwill on their injury list, and Mykhailo Mudryk is still serving a doping ban.

Quotes

“I'm beginning to see the players do well in lots of the big games," Everton manager David Moyes said after his side's defeat to Arsenal.

"But we've got to find that way of being clean when we finish, or just getting the little bit that makes a difference. “We've won quite a lot of games away from home.

"There was a period where I was saying: ‘Oh, this could be Everton again here, somewhere late in this game, this could happen, but it just went the other way.”

Head-to-Head

Chelsea beat Everton 2-0 in their last meeting in the league, which was in December 2025 at Stamford Bridge.

Therefore, Chelsea are undefeated in their last four Premier League games against Everton, having registered three victories and one draw.
