Oliver Goldhill will be hoping to cap off a fine season when he takes to the course at Waterkloof Golf Club in the Betway Big Easy Tour Final from 17-19 March.
The South African is well placed to earn his Sunshine Tour card after claiming six top-10 finishes from the 15 events he competed in this term.
Goldhill sits fourth in the Order of Merit standings after placing T3 in the Play Off last month as he finished 10 strokes behind winner Daniel Cronje.
The 24-year-old narrowly missed out on his maiden Big Easy Tour victory in November, having lost to Jacques van der Merwe by one stroke at Krugersdorp Golf Club in November.
Goldhill came up just short again two months later at the 10th Big Easy Tour event of the campaign when Jake Bolton beat him by two strokes at Observatory Golf Club to make it back-to-back T2 finishes.
Goldhill admitted he was a bit under the weather at that event in Johannesburg despite making eight birdies in the opening round.
"I couldn't wait to finish the round because I'm quite sick at the moment," he said after carding a 7-under 65.
"But I got it going really nicely, greens and in good nick and I was putting nicely. I was quite happy to see a few putts go in. The last two or three months have been really consistent and I'm just trying to ride that wave."
