Max Homa will be keen to become joint-most successful golfer in the history of the
Wells Fargo Championship by clinching his third title.
What to know about Homa
The American star has slowly established himself as one of top golfers in the world and he is currently placed seventh on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR).
Homa, who clinched the individual 2013 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship, has won eight professional tournaments including six PGA Tour events.

The 32-year-old missed the cut at last month's 2023 RBC Heritage and he then took a break from professional golf.
The year 2023 has seen Homa impressively secure top three finishes at Sentry Tournament of Champions (third-place), Farmers Insurance Open (winner) and Genesis Invitational (runner-up).
Why Homa is among the favourites
The two-time Fortinet Championship winner has dominated the Wells Fargo Championship in the last few years - winning the two of the last three events.
Homa, who has won two events in the current 2022-23 PGA Tour season, will be determined to successfully retain the title in order to move up on the OWGR.

“One of the holes today I felt I was going to throw up but my hands felt unbelievable on the club, felt as solid as a rock and golf swing and putting stroke were as good as I could have imagined.
“It means a lot to me to do this under pressure and job security’s great. I haven’t had that before. I had some serious scar tissue.”
