Lewis Hamilton will be determined to make history by becoming the first driver to win seven

The Ferrari driver failed to secure a podium spot at the Monaco Grand Prix on May 25, the most recent race on the 2025 Formula One World Championship calendar.
Hamilton started on the seventh grid and he went on to finish in position five, missing out on a 203rd career podium spot in Formula One, but he collected 10 points.
Formula One title ambitions
The Formula One legend is still placed sixth in the World Drivers' Championship standings and is currently on 63 points.
Hamilton is 16 points behind fifth-placed Charles Leclerc of Ferrari and 98 points behind leader Oscar Piastri of McLaren.
Why Hamilton could win the 2025 Spanish Grand Prix
The 40-year-old has won six Spanish Grand Prix titles - a record he shares with Michael Schumacher, but he is the only driver to have won five races in a row.
Hamilton is yet to secure a podium spot this season, but his performances have been improving lately, and he knows what it takes to win in Montmelo.
What did he say?
"I knew starting in P7 was going to be a challenge today, but it's good to see our progress overall," Hamilton said after finishing fifth at the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix.
"Once I found some clear air, I was able to make up a bit of ground, although we lost quite a bit of time in traffic and the balance wasn’t quite where we wanted it. Still, we came away with a podium for Charles (Leclerc), as well as some solid points for the team and it’s encouraging we’re heading in the right direction.
"We made a step forward in qualifying, which was a key focus, so a big thanks to everyone for the hard work in getting the car into a more competitive place across the whole weekend. We’ll keep pushing and look to build on this in Barcelona."
