Alex Marquez will be determined to make it back-to-back victories in the 2025 MotoGP season by winning the
French MotoGP.

The Ducati BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP rider had a brilliant outing at the Spanish MotoGP on 27 April, the most recent event on the 2025 MotoGP calendar.
Marquez won the race after starting on the fourth grid and he also finished second in the sprint event, which saw him accumulate a total of 34 points.
MotoGP title ambitions
The 2014 Moto3 World Championship winner is placed at the top of the 2025 MotoGP Riders' standings, having collected 140 points from five races.
Alex is one point ahead of second-placed Marc Marquez of Ducati and 20 points ahead of third-placed Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati.
Why Marquez could win the 2025 French MotoGP
The 2019 Moto2 World Championship winner has been one of the most consistent riders this season, having finished second in three consecutive races.
Oozing with confidence after the most recent race, the Spanish MotoGP, Marquez will be confident of winning the French MotoGP in order to maintain his top spot.
What did he say?
“If they had ask me where I would have wanted my first MotoGP race win to take place, the answer would have been 'Jerez'," Marquez said after winning the 2025 Spanish MotoGP.
"We managed to do it and we were aware that it was possible already from Friday. I trusted the team and when I saw Marc crashing I thought it was my best chance of the season.
"It was fantastic, now we try to skip tomorrow’s test.”
