Lee Kyoung-Hoon will be looking to join an elite list when he returns to the Byron Nelson as a former two-time champion.
The South Korean became the first non-American to successfully defend his title when he carded a 26-under 262 to beat Jordan Spieth by one stroke in 2022.
Lee had claimed his maiden PGA Tour victory at TPC Craig Ranch in 2021 as he followed in the footsteps of compatriot Kang Sung-Hoon, who won the event in 2019.
He joined the legendary trio of Sam Snead (3), Jack Nicklaus (2) and Tom Watson (4) to have won back-to-back titles at the Byron Nelson, with two of them being triumphant on three occasions.
The 34-year-old only returned to the PGA Tour in March this year after being sidelined for 11 months with a hip injury, but he missed the cut at the Cognizant Classic as well as the Houston Open and the Texas Open.
Lee was absent from the field in 2025 due to his injury, although he admitted to feeling confident ahead of the 2024 edition, and this year should be no different.
"When I am here, I am always confident," he said. "This course yields a lot of birdies and eagles."
