AS Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini has rallied his troops ahead of their final Serie A clash against Verona as the popular Italian side aims to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
As one of the most in-form teams in the league at the moment, Roma will head into their next match on the back of four consecutive wins. While they also recorded a 1-1 draw against Atalanta in their last five games, Roma crept into fourth position on 70 points from 37 games.
Roma are now one win away from achieving their goal, while Como will be hot on their heels in fifth place, two points adrift of the Champions League spots.
Verona, who have already been relegated, currently occupies 19th place on the log.
The struggling outfit last recorded a 1-1 draw against league champions Inter Milan, taking their tally to 21 points for the season.
Overall, Verona noted two wins and three draws in their previous handful of Serie A games.

With Roma looking to acquire a top four spot this season, Gasperini expressed that his side are ‘desperate’ to secure Champions League football ahead of their Matchday 38 obligation.
"We still have ninety minutes left to play,” Gasperini said.
“It’s an extraordinary league season, with many teams separated by only a few points; everything is exciting.
“We’re happy because now it depends on us to achieve a target that we desperately want.”
