Chelsea vs Sheffield United

Chelsea will be aiming to build on their unbeaten run in the 2020-21 English Premier League when they welcome Sheffield United to Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The Blues stretched their run without defeat to five matches with a 3-0 win over Burnley last time out. Timo Werner scored his third goal in three matches while Edouard Mendy kept a second clean sheet in succession.

"There was certainly balance there and we worked on that," Lampard told reporters following the match. "That's part of the process when we've brought in new players. When you're keeping clean sheets and scoring goals, you're going in the right direction.

"The clean sheets are a great sign of a spine in the team. Thiago Silva and Edouard Mendy have massively helped that but so has the mentality of the group."

"I'm not going to jump up and down after a win like this, but it was a really positive day," he added.

In contrast, the Blades are yet to win a game this season and have conjured a mere point from seven matches. That said, their last two games were against Liverpool and Manchester City and despite a slow start, there have been positives for Chris Wilder.

The corresponding fixture last season ended in a 2-2 draw while Sheffield thumped the Blues 3-0 in their most recent meeting. A brace from David McGoldrick spearheaded the club to a comprehensive win over Chelsea at Bramall Lane in July.
