Genoa will battle with AS Roma in an Italian Serie A match at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris on November 8.
The Old Fool (Il Vecchio Balordo) managed to hold Sampdoria to a 1-1 away in their previous league game which was played on November 1.
The draw extended Genoa's winless run to four matches in the league having recorded two draws and two defeats.
They have lost two of their last four home matches in the competition, while the other two games ended in a win.
Meanwhile, Roma secured a 2-0 win over Fiorentina at home in their previous league game which was played on November 1.
As a result, the Yellow and Reds are undefeated in their last five matches in the league having recorded two draws and three victories.
They are also undefeated in their last two away games in the competition having registered one draw and one win.
Paulo Fonseca, the Roma manager, has revealed the secret to his side's good form in the Serie A following their win over Fiorentina.
“Compared to last season, this season we’ve started the campaign playing with three at the back and the team has reacted well to that," Fonseca said.
"The team has more confidence with that formation, there’s more defensive security and it creates more opportunities for the side to launch quick counter-attacking moves.
The last meeting between Genoa and Roma in the league was on 19 January 2020.
The Yellow and Reds secured a 3-1 win over the Old Fool in a match which was played at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris.
