The
2022 Mayakoba Golf Classic is set to take place in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico between 3 and 6 November.
The tournament which is also known as World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba debuted in February 2007 and was the first PGA Tour event in Mexico this century.
In 2021, American privately-held technology services provider World Wide Technology was announced as the new title sponsor of the event, in a deal lasting until 2027.

The current champion is Viktor Hovland having won the last two World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba events.
This year's field is headlined by the likes of Hovland, Scottie Scheffler, Billy Horschel, Collin Morikawa, Tony Finau as well as 2017 tournament winner Patton Kizzire.
This is set to be a 132-player field played out over four days and it is the seventh event of the 2022-2023 PGA Tour regular season.
Thirteen of the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking are set to compete in the tournament and they will be playing for an $8.2 million purse.
