Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen will be seeking a record 18th win of the Formula One season at the
Las Vegas Grand Prix on Sunday, November 18.
The reigning three-time world champion has finished on the podium in all but one of the 20 races thus far in 2023 to open up an unassailable 266-point lead over team-mate Sergio Perez in the Drivers' standings.
Verstappen claimed his 17th victory in the Brazilian Grand Prix last time out, having led from start to finish and only briefly coming under pressure from McLaren's Lando Norris on lap 8.

The Dutchman will look to make more history as the first-ever winner on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit, which is hosting a F1 race for the first time this year.
Verstappen overtook Alain Prost in the list of total wins with the 52nd victory of his career at Interlagos and has a chance to go equal with former four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel (53).
The 26-year-old also broke a 71-year record in Sao Paulo when he surpassed Alberto Ascari's win percentage of 75 in a season the Ferrari driver achieved in 1952.
When asked what beating Ascari's record meant to him, Verstappen replied: "It's not about that. I mean, it's not something that when I joined Formula 1, I need to have a 75% win record over a season, you know?
"These kinds of things come along when everything just works really well. You know, I feel good in the car, the car is very competitive, and the team barely makes mistakes as well.
"So then you can get a season like we are having. So for me it's more about just enjoying the moment and trying to maximise every single opportunity."
