As a team enjoying a nine-match unbeaten run in
Serie A, AC Milan will hope to keep up with the pace set at the top of the table when they take on Parma on Saturday.
Milan’s current form sheet saw them go one point off the summit following matchday 10, where the Italian giants recorded a 1-0 win against Roma at the San Siro on Sunday.
The popular Serie A club last tasted defeat on 23 August, after they jotted down a 2-1 loss against Cremonese on home soil.
Parma will go into this weekend’s Serie A duties on the back of a 3-1 defeat against Bologna at Ennio Tardini this past Sunday.
While AC Milan are third on the standings, Parma currently occupy 16
th and took home just one victory in their first 10 matches of the season.
Reflecting on Milan’s recent win against Roma, coach Massimiliano Allegri is of the thought that his younger players carried the team during a tricky injury laden spell.
“These are steps forward for a team that must improve its self-belief through matches like this,” Allegri said.
“Playing at San Siro isn’t easy. In these last three or four matches, without Pulisic, Rabiot, and tonight Tomori, we’ve seen players with little experience of this stadium handle themselves well.”
