Collin Morikawa will be looking to put his Ryder Cup disappointment behind him when he tees off at the
Baycurrent Classic on Thursday, October 9.
The world No. 9 was part of the United States team who lost on home soil at Bethpage last month as Europe retained the Ryder Cup with an overall score of 15 to 13.
Morikawa only scored a half-point in his three matches and he'll now be turning his attention to the third event of the FedExCup Fall which sees the PGA Tour head to Japan.
The American is a former Baycurrent Classic champion, having beaten compatriots Eric Cole and Beau Hossler by six strokes in 2023 to win the last of his six PGA Tour titles.
Morikawa made a strong start to the current season, finishing second at the Sentry and the Arnold Palmer Invitational before going on to achieve another two top 10s.
The 28-year-old's putting was exceptionally poor at Bethpage and he will be hoping to get his game together in Yokohama.
"Not every day will go exactly to plan, but every day has something to be thankful for. Forever grateful," Morikawa said on Instagram after the Ryder Cup loss.
