As a Golfer that needs little introduction, Rory McIlroy will head into the
DP World India Championship as a clear favourite in the next few days.
What to know about Rory McIlroy
The Northern-Irishman is one of the leading Golfers in the world today, given his exploits on the PGA and European Tour.
McIlroy is also a five-time Major Champion, while he also became the first European to earn a Grand Slam as he followed the likes of Gary Player and Tiger Woods with high honours in the sport.
Also, McIlroy’s latest victory came at the Amgen Irish Open last month, where he finished birdie on the third extra hole to bag the trophy for the second-time in his illustrious career.

With McIlroy set to touch base on Indian soil for the first time, the 36-year-old spoke glowingly of Golf’s progression in the country.
"I'm excited to not only tee it up in India for the first time but also visit a country that I've always wanted to explore," McIlroy said.
"I'm proud to play in the inaugural DP World India Championship.
"I've always enjoyed playing a global schedule and as I have previously said, there is tremendous potential to grow golf further in the country.
"This is a great opportunity, and I can't wait to play in front of Indian golf fans."
