Rangers face a key Group G clash in the UEFA Europa League when they tackle Feyenoord at De Kuip in Rotterdam on Thursday 28 November 2019, kick-off at 17:55 CAT. The match is one of 24 across the continent in Matchday 5 of the second-tier UEFA competition.
Scottish giants Rangers come into the clash placed second on the group log. They are level on seven points with leaders Young Boys of Switzerland, but ranked behind them on head-to-head record.
‘Gers were last in Europa League action earlier this month, claiming a 2-0 home win over Portuguese giants Porto thanks to goals from Alfredo Morelos and Steven Davis.
A positive result in the Netherlands will put Steven Gerrard’s team within touching distance of a place in the knockout rounds, though ultimately their fate will be decided at home to Young Boys in the final round in December.
"It puts us in a good place in the group but still a lot of work to do, two tough games to go," said Gerrard. "It's a fantastic carrot for us. It will be really tough. They [Feyenoord] have a new manager [Dick Advocaat] now, I'm sure there will be a bounce. We will have a game plan, we will work on it."

Feyenoord, meanwhile, were held 1-1 at home by Young Boys last time out and find themselves on four points in third place, ranked ahead of Porto on head-to-head record. The Dutch giants have had a tumultuous season so far, but a win at home to Rangers would boost their qualification chances and give them a major goal to play for in 2020.
Rangers and Feyenoord met in a Group G match at Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow back in September, with the hosts claiming a 1-0 victory thanks to a goal midway through the first half from Sheyi Ojo.
The other Group G match on Thursday evening sees Young Boys host Porto at Stade de Suisse in Bern.
