Rose eyes more success at Charles Schwab Challenge

Justin Rose will be looking to win his second Charles Schwab Challenge title when he participates at the Colonial Country Club.
 
The English star is currently ranked 41st in the Official World Golf Rankings and he is also a former world number one. 
 
Rose, who also competes on the European Tour, won the Charles Schwab Challenge in 2018 when the tournament was known as the Fort Worth Invitational.

The South Africa-born golfer closed with a 6-under 64 and finished at 20 under at Colonial for a three-stroke victory over Brooks Koepka.
 
Rose, who won gold at the men's individual tournament at the 2016 Olympic Games, clinched his first major championship at the 2013 U.S Open at Merion Golf Club.

The 2018 FedEx Cup champion became the first English player to win a major since Nick Faldo in 1996 and the first to win the U.S Open since Tony Jacklin in 1970.
 
His last win on the PGA Tour came at the 2019 Farmers' Insurance Open as he put down the stretch for a 3-under 69 to hold off Adam Scott and clinch the title.

Rose said he doesn't like glancing in the past and he is instead savoring what lies ahead as he looks to clinch his second Charles Schwab Challenge trophy.
 
“I've had some situations in my career that should stand me in good stead," Rose said. 
 
"But listen, I think to keep the expectations relatively low even in this situation is not a bad thing for me for the remainder of the week and just keep it one shot at a time, keep committing on this golf course,
 
"You can never get ahead of yourself, we've seen it many times around here. It's all about commitment, and I think it's about enjoying it."
