Oscar Piastri will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways at the
Singapore Grand Prix to keep his bid to win the Formula world title on track.

The McLaren driver failed to secure a podium spot at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on 21 September, the most recent race on the 2025 Formula One World Championship calendar.
Piastri started on the ninth grid, but he was involved in an accident which forced him to retire from the race and he left the Baku City Circuit without a single point.
Formula One title ambitions
The Haileybury alumnus is still placed at the top of the World Drivers' Championship standings, having accumulated 324 points.
However, Piastri is now 25 points ahead of second-placed Lando Norris of McLaren and 69 points clear of third-placed Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing.
Why Piastri could win the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix
The three-time Sir Jack Brabham Award winner remains the man to beat in the current season, having won the most races (seven) and he also finished third in the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix.
Three of Piastri's seven victories came in Asia as he won the Chinese, Bahrain and Saudi events and he will be looking to register his fourth victory this weekend.
What did he say?
"Obviously not the weekend we were looking for in Baku. I made a mistake at the start and then locked up," Piastri said after being forced to retire at the 2025 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
"I want to apologise to the team, especially the mechanics after they did such a great job to get my car back together after Qualifying. We just need to keep our heads down, review,
"And put this one behind us before coming back stronger next race weekend."
