Luke List will be looking to evoke the memories of 2023 when he returns to the
Sanderson Farms Championship on Thursday, October 2.
The American is a former champion after he carded an 18-under 270 to beat Ludvig Aberg, Ben Griffin, Henrik Norlander and Scott Stallings in a playoff at the Country Club of Jackson two years ago.
It was the second PGA Tour victory of List's career following his success at the Farmers Insurance Open in 2022, but he's struggled with his game since then.
The 40-year-old has achieved just one top-10 finish this year, T8 at the Isco Championship, while he's missed the cut in 12 of the 22 tournament he has competed in.
List admitted ahead of his title defence in 2024 that he wanted to focus on getting back into the rhythm and that still rings true one year later.
"I have phenomenal memories of this town, golf course, community and the event. So to be back gives me some really good vibes," he said.
"I'd love to be in contention and do it again. But more importantly, I just want to get my game back a little bit. That's the bigger picture."
