The
2020 Lone Star Le Mans will take place on Sunday in Austin which is the capital city of the US state of Texas.
This will be the fifth round of this season's Championship and it is set to take place at the Circuit of the Americas.
The facility is home to the Formula One United States Grand Prix, the IndyCar Classic, and the Motorcycle Grand Prix of The Americas.
The 6 Hours of Circuit of the Americas has been introduced due to the failure of the promoter for 6 Hours of São Paulo to fulfill its contractual obligations to the championship.
Toyota Gazoo Racing driver Mike Conway is currently placed at the top of the LMP1 driver's standings having accumulated 97 points.
The British driver is followed by Kamui Kobayashi and José Maria Lopez, who are both representing Toyota Yazoo Racing and they are also on 97 points.
Toyota are also sitting at the top of the LMP1 manufacturer's standings ahead of Rebellion Racing and Team LNT.

Corvette C8.R's Jan Magnussen, who is an endurance racing supremo, having competed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans a staggering 21 times, is looking forward to the Lone Star Le Mans.
"I'm looking forward to getting back to Austin and COTA. It's a new car obviously, and I'm excited to drive the Corvette C8.R at COTA," Magnussen said.
"I've had some really good experiences with the C7.R at COTA in the past. Hopefully this will be another great result for Corvette Racing."
