Uefa Europa League Matchday Preview


The 2017/18 UEFA Europa League group stage games will return this week with match day two taking place on Thursday.

The first match of the day will feature Kazakhstan's Astana and Czech side Slavia Prague in a Group A encounter at the Astana Arena and kick-off is at 17h00. Twelve matches will then kick-off at 19h00 and one of them will see Czech club Viktoria Plzen hosting Israel's Hapoel Be'er Sheva in a Group G match at the Doosan Arena. Romanian side Steaua Bucure?ti will travel to the Swisspor arena in Lucerne where they are scheduled to battle with Swiss outfit Lugano in another Group G encounter.

In Spain, Athletic Bilbao will be at home against Ukrainian side Zorya Luhansk in a Group J encounter. Another Group J match will feature Swedish side Östersund and German club Hertha Berlin at the Jämtkraft Arena in Östersund, Sweden. Germany's FC Koln are scheduled to welcome Serbian outfit Red Star Belgrade in a Group H game at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne, Germany.

English giants Arsenal will travel to Belarus to take on BATE Borisov at the Borisov Arena in another Group H match. Red Bull Arena will be venue for the Group I clash between Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg and German giants Olympique Marseille in Wals-Siezenheim. Turkish side Konyaspor will face off with Portuguese outfit Vitoria Guimaraes in another Group I match at the Büyüksehir Stadium in Turkey.

In Rome, Italian giants AS Roma are scheduled to lock horns with Belgium's Zulte Waregem at the Stadio Olimpico in a Group K encounter. Another Group K match will feature French side Nice and Dutch club Vitesse at the Allianz Riviera in France. Norway's Rosenborg are set to welcome Macedonian outfit FK Vardar in a Group L clash at the Lerkendal Stadion in Trondheim. Zeint-Saint Petersburg, the Russian giants, will be at home against Spanish side Real Sociedad in another Group L game at the Krestovsky Stadium in Russia.

Eleven matches which are scheduled to kick-off at 21h05 will then kick-off including a Group B match between Serbian side Partizan and Ukrainian club Dinamo Kyiv at the Partizan Stadium in Serbia. In Albania, Skënderbeu Korçë will welcome Switzerland's Young Boys in another Group B encounter at the Elbasan Arena. Bulgarian side Ludogorets Razgrad are set to lock horns with German club 1899 Hoffenheim in a Group C clash at the Ludogorets Arena in Bulgaria.

Portugal's Braga will face off with Tukish outfit Istanbul Basaksehir at home in another Group C match at the Estádio Municipal. In Group D, Greek giants AEL Athens will square off with Austrian club Austria Wien at the Olympic Stadium in Greece. Croatian side Rijeka will travel to Italy to face off with Italian giants AC Milan in another Group D encounter at the San Siro. In Israel, Maccabi Tel Aviv are set to play host to Spanish outfit Villarreal a Group A game at Netanya Stadium.

Goodison Park in England will be the venue for the Group E match between English outfit Everton and Cyprus' Apollon Limassol. French giants Olympique Lyonnais are scheduled to take on Italian side Atalanta in another Group E encounter at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais in France. Danish club Copenhagen will travel to the Sheriff Stadium in Moldova where they take on Moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspol in a Group F clash. Lastly, Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow will face off with Czech outfit Fastav Zlín in a Group F encounter at the RZD Arena.
