Manchester United and RB Leipzig will battle for control of Group H when they meet at Old Trafford on the evening of Wednesday 28 October 2020, kick-off at 20:00. The match is one of 16 on 27-28 October in Matchday 2 of the
UEFA Champions League group stage.
United opened their Champions League campaign with a hard-earned, but morale-boosting 2-1 win away to Paris Saint-Germain on October 20. A penalty from Bruno Fernandes and a fine late strike by Marcus Rashford secured three precious away points in what is a challenging group.

“It’s a good performance but we also have a lot to build on,” said Rashford. “As players, it’s important to believe in the system that the manager tells us to play in. It was hard at times, especially late on, but we kept the intensity high. We had to defend deep at times, they have some unbelievable players."
RBL also have three points on the board after they claimed a 2-0 home win over Istanbul Basaksehir, with former Manchester City defender Angelino scoring two quick goals in the first half to see the German side to victory.

"I'm not completely satisfied by the way we played. You could tell there were some tired legs out there, the pressing wasn't as effective,” said Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann. “At 2-0 we were playing well and deserved the lead, but in the second half we didn't really have any big chances apart from a few counterattacks where we could have put the game to bed. But the most important thing is to get the three points."
The other Group H match on Wednesday 28 October sees French giants Paris Saint-Germain travel to Turkey to face Istanbul Basaksehir at the Fatih Terim Stadium.
