Villarreal CF will square off with Getafe CF in a Spanish La Liga match at the Estadio de la Cerámica on May 2.
The Yellow Submarine suffered a 2-1 defeat to FC Barcelona in their previous league game which was played on April 25.
As a result, Villarreal are now winless in their last two matches in this competition having registered two consecutive defeats.

Unai Emery, the Villarreal manager, reflected on their defeat to Barcelona and he said they will continue to fight for a place in next season's UEFA Europa League.
“We’ve put in a good performance and we didn’t let our opponent have many chances. In the first half, we gave them more chances, but after, we were more solid," Emery said.
"We went ahead, but they reacted well. In the second half, we managed to stop them from playing and we had more of the ball, getting closer to their goal.”
“It’s a negative result, but I’ve got good feelings. We need to think about that ahead of the upcoming games. In Europe to keep on dreaming, and in La Liga to keep on fighting for Europe.”

Meanwhile, Getafe secured a 2-0 win over Huesca away in their last league match which was played on April 25.
The win ended the Deep Blues' seven-match winless run in this competition having recorded three defeats and four draws.
The win also ended Getafe's seven-match winless run on the road in La Liga having registered six defeats and one draw.
The last meeting between Villarreal and Getafe in a league match was on 8 November 2020.
Villarreal claimed a 3-1 victory over Getafe in an encounter that was played at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.
