After stumbling in their most recent Serie A match, AC Milan have the opportunity to correct their ways when they take on Udinese at home on Saturday.
Milan will head into this weekend’s fixture sitting in third position following a 1-0 away loss against Napoli on Monday night.
The Italian giants currently have 63 points from 31 matches and trail log leaders and arch rivals Inter Milan by nine points. Overall, their Scudetto challenge hit a snag in the last couple of weeks, recording three wins and two losses in their previous five games.
Udinese are sandwiched in the middle of the log, sitting in 11th place with 40 points from 31 games.
The Udine side could only manage a 0-0 draw with Como in their most recent Serie A obligation, recording two wins, two stalemates and one defeat in their previous handful of games.

With Milan dropping crucial points against Napoli, Massimiliano Allegri conceded that his side is no longer in the title race but their immediate mandate is to get back to winning ways.
“The Scudetto race is not for us now, Inter are nine points away and Napoli are ahead now,” Allegri said.
“We need to focus on ourselves, taking it one game at a time. We are right now on target for our objective, but it won’t be decided within a week or two, we need to maintain that advantage by trying to win games.”
