Ashleigh Barty will be determined to win her second Grand Slam title when he participates in the
French Open.
The Australian star is one of the best female tennis players in the world and she is sitting at the top of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) rankings.
Barty, who is the reigning champion in singles at the WTA Finals, won the French Open in 2019 and it remains her only Grand Slam title.

Barty won the 2019 Roland Garros after defeating Czech Republic's Marketa Vondrousova in the final, dropping just four games.
The Queensland-born star became the first Australian to win the French Open in singles since Margaret Court in 1973.
The first Australian to win a Grand Slam singles title since Sam Stosur at the 2011 US Open and she also rose to world number two in the world.
Barty has been in good form in 2021 having won the Stuttgart Open and it was her third title of the year, before finishing second at the Madrid Open.

Barty has now shifted her focus to Roland Garros after taking part in the recent Italian Open, where she was forced to retire in the quarterfinals due to an arm injury.
The 25-year-old explained why she had to retire in Italy and she promised that she will be 100% fit for the French Open.

“It’s disappointing no doubt but it was important that I listened to my body and gave it time to rest and recover, and make sure that in a couple of weeks’ time I’m 100% fit for Roland Garros,” Barty said.
“It became worse while we were playing. The challenging thing is to make the decision to stop. It’s the thing that I hate the most, not being able to finish a tennis match. It’s not in my make-up, not what I like to do.
“But the pain was becoming too severe, so it was important to try and do the right thing.”
