Ivory Coast could finish at the top of Group F during matchday three at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations when they take on Gabon at Stade de Marrakech on Wednesday night.
As it stands, the Elephants lead the way in their group on four points following their 1-1 draw with Cameroon at Stade de Marrakech on Sunday night.
Gabon on the other hand have been eliminated from the showpiece after matchday two following a 3-2 loss against Mozambique at Stade Adrar on Sunday.
Ivory Coast and Cameroon share identical records in Group F heading into matchday three, while third-placed Mozambique could progress to the Round of 16 should they beat the Indomitable Lions at the Adrar Stadium on Wednesday.

Speaking after Ivory Coast’s draw with Cameroon, the Lions of Teranga coach Emerse Fae lauded the Indomitable Lions’ grit throughout the 90 minutes.
“Cameroon played a very good match, they played with the love of the jersey, of the country. True soldiers,” Fae said.
“They put in energy, heart, they defended well. Their defenders managed to find passes inside, eliminating our midfielders.”
