With Antonio Conte expressing his happiness at Napoli’s position in Serie A, the reigning Italian champions will now turn their attention to Cremonese in Matchday 17.
As it stands, Napoli are third on the Serie A log, two points behind table toppers Inter Milan after 15 matches played.
While Napoli will take on Bologna in the SuperCoppa Italiana final on Monday night, the men in blue suffered a 1-0 loss to Udinese in their most recent league game on 14 December.
Overall, Napoli jotted down three wins and two losses in their last five league games, while Cremonese have two wins, two losses and one draw to their name in their previous handful.
Sitting in 11th place, Cremonese are winless in their last two Serie A obligations and will go into the next game on the back of a 0-0 draw with Lazio.

Reflecting on Conte’s league title defence, the Napoli mentor believes that his side are in a decent position after 15 matches played.
“We can’t forget where we’ve come from. We won an extraordinary Scudetto after finishing the season before in 10th place," Conte said.
"That is something that is not emphasized enough.
"I’ve already said that it would be a difficult year since we’ve brought in nine new players, but in the end, we are where we should be in the league."
