Currently sitting on a 13-match unbeaten run in Serie A, Inter remain strong in their quest to bag the 2025/26 Serie A title as they prepare to take on Lecce at Via del Mare this weekend.
As it stands, Inter boast an eight-point lead over second-placed AC Milan at the top of the pile with 61 points to their name heading into Matchday 26. Inter last recorded a crucial 3-2 win over Juventus on Saturday and thus bagged their sixth consecutive win in the league.
Nerazzurri last tasted defeat in the league on 23 November, 2025, following a 1-0 loss to Milan at San Siro. Since then, Inter have been near spotless in their charge to win their first Scudetto since the 23/24 campaign and recorded just one draw since then, which came in a 2-2 result with Napoli on 11 January.
Lecce on the other hand, have been battling to stay clear of the relegation zone this season.
Sitting in 17th place currently, Lecce are three points away from the drop zone but will be boosted by jotting two wins from their last two matches.
Following victories over Udinese and Cagliari respectively, Lecce moved onto 24 points in 25 matches with two wins, two losses and one stalemate in their previous handful of league ties.

Speaking after Inter’s victory over Juventus, Cristian Chivu lauded his side’s character amid a challenge to remain competitive throughout the campaign.
"It'd been two years since we last won a six-pointer, and the players felt that pressure, but we did what we had to do and got the win. We tried to hurt Juventus and put in a performance full of character,” Chivu said in part.
“We've earned what we deserve. We've grown a lot and want to be competitive. The aim is to have a positive season, and we're doing everything we can to make that happen,” the Inter coach concluded.
