Serie A
Matchday 25
Napoli vs AS Roma
Stadio Diego-Armondo Maradona
Naples, Italy
Sunday, 15 February 2026
Kick-off is at 19:45
In spite of an injury laden spell during the 2025/26 Serie A season, Napoli will hope to keep up log leaders Inter Milan when they take on AS Roma this weekend.
Napoli are currently in third position on the log after 24 matches played, nine points behind table toppers Inter Milan.
The reigning league champions saw out a gritty 3-2 win over Genoa this past Saturday and needed a 95th minute penalty from Rasmus Hojlund to collect maximum points at the Luigi Ferraris stadium.
With two wins on the spin, Napoli recorded three victories, one draw and one loss in each of their last five league outings. As for Roma, who are chasing a European spot for next season, are fifth on the log with three wins, one stalemate and the single defeat in their previous handful of Serie A ties.
Also, Roma returned to winning ways during Matchday 24, with a 2-0 win over Cagliari at Stadio Olimpico on Monday night.

Speaking after Napoli’s win over Genoa, Antonio Conte lauded his side’s character amid a crippling injury crisis.
Conte went on to describe the 25/26 campaign as ‘absurd’ while playing with reduced numbers following key injuries to players such as Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku and Giovanni Di Lorenzo.
“I always tell the lads, whether we win or lose, we must end the game with heads held high, having given our all, made the fans proud, and honoured the badge on the shirt,” Conte said.
“After that, let’s be clear, it is so difficult. Players make the history of a match, a coach can only do so much when he doesn’t have many players.
“It is an absurd season, certainly. If we are intelligent people, we all ought to reflect on the construction of the squad, on the transfer strategy that we did, because compared to other teams, we have a very reduced squad. We can’t even look to the youth academy.”
