KTM rider Danilo Petrucci will be looking to successfully defend his
French Grand Prix title on May 16.
The Italian star has failed to finish in the top 10 in the current season and he finished 14th in the most recent race which was the Spanish Grand Prix on May 2.
Petrucci is now returning to Circuit Bugatti having won last year's French Grand Prix as a Ducati rider and he will be hoping to claim his maiden win of the season in Le Mans.

The Spanish Grand Prix was won by Jack Miller of Ducati following an enthralling race at the Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto.
Miller was followed by his teammate Francesco Bagnaia and Yamaha rider Franco Morbidelli, who finished second and third respectively.
Bagnaia is now placed at the top of the 2021 Riders' standings and he is followed by the Yamaha duo of Fabio Quartararo and Maverick Vinales.
Petrucci is currently placed 19th on the standings and he will move up on the table if he wins the French Grand Prix.

Petrucci is looking forward to competing at the French Grand Prix as he enjoys competing on the Circuit Bugatti.
"I’m very happy to return to Le Mans. This place always creates beautiful memories for me, it’s a track that I like a lot. In the last years," Petrucci said.
"I have been on the podium there, last year I won the race. First of all, it’s the home race of my team and we need all our strength to fight for the top positions.
"I imagine Le Mans is a good opportunity to make progress and fight closer to the front. I really can’t wait to be on my bike again at one of my favorite circuits."
Yamaha are placed at the top of Constructors' Championship standings and they are followed by Ducati and Suzuki respectively.
