Aston Villa will square off with Arsenal in an
English Premier League match at Villa Park on July 21.
This will be the 50th meeting between the two former English champions in the Premier League era.
Arsenal have the upper hand in this fixture having recorded 27 wins compared to Villa's eight victories, while 14 games ended in a draw.
The Gunners also won 3-2 in the last meeting between the two teams in the league on 22 September 2019 at the Emirates Stadium.
Ahmed Elmohamady, the Villa right-back, says they are targeting nothing but a victory in their last three remaining Premier League games.

"There’s always pressure when you’re in the relegation zone, but you have to keep fighting," Elmohamady said.

"There is no other option. We have to go to Everton with a mentality like today (July 12 against Crystal Palace), keep a clean sheet and get the three points.”
Meanwhile, Villa recorded a comfortable 2-0 win over Crystal Palace in their last home match in the league on July 12.
The victory ended the Lions' five-match winless run on the road in the league having registered four defeats and one draw.
While Arsenal were edged out 2-1 by Tottenham Hotspur in their last away match in the league on July 12.
Prior to the encounter with Tottenham, the Gunners were unbeaten in two away matches having recorded two successive wins.
