Yamaha rider Maverick Vinales will be targeting nothing but a win when he competes in the
Italian MotoGP on May 30.
The Spaniard has struggled for form since he won the first race of the current season which was the Qatar MotoGP in March 2020.
Vinales has failed to secure a podium finish since the Qatar MotoGP and he finished 10th in the recent race which was the French MotoGP on May 16.

The French MotoGP was won by Jack Miller of Ducati and he was followed by his teammate Johann Zarco and Fabio Quartararo of Yamaha respectively.
Therefore, Quaratararo is now sitting at the top of the 2021 riders' standings after securing a podium finish in France.
The Ducati duo of Francesco Bagnaia and Zarco are placed second and third respectively heading into the Italian MotoGP.
Vinales is currently placed fifth and he will move into the top three positions if he claims a victory in this weekend's race.

Vinales reflected on the recent French Grand Prix and he was pleased with how his bike performed on the Circuit Bugatti.
“Honestly, I end the race with positive vibes because on the dry session we go back to our full performance," Vinales said.
"And I think if the conditions were normal, it was a good race for me to do my own rhythm and pull away. I felt fantastic with the bike.
"But after that I just made a mistake at corners 9/10 and I just lost Marc [Marquez] and Fabio and [Jack] Miller."
Ducati are placed at the top of Constructors' Championship standings and they are followed by Yahama and Suzuki respectively.
