FC Barcelona will square off with Villarreal CF in a
Spanish La Liga match at the Camp Nou on September 27.
Barca emerged 5-0 winners over Derpotivo Alaves away in their previous league game which was played on 19 July 2020.
The win saw Barcelona return to winning ways having lost to Osasuna, before they locked horns with Alaves.

They saw their 30-match unbeaten run at home come to an end when they succumbed to a defeat against Osasuna in their last game as hosts.
Philippe Coutinho, the Barcelona playmaker, is looking forward to playing for Barca at Camp Nou once again as they prepare for their clash with Villarreal.
"I was really looking forward to playing at the Camp Nou again," Coutinho said.
“I am very happy and working hard to start the season well. I have been feeling great and just hoping that my return to Barcelona goes well. I’m highly motivated.”

Meanwhile, Villarreal secured a 2-1 victory over Eibar at home in their previous league game which was played on September 19.
The win extended the Yellow Submarine's unbeaten run to three matches having registered two wins and one draw.
They saw their four-match unbeaten run on the road come to an end when they lost to Real Madrid in their last away match.
The last meeting between Barcelona and Villarreal in a league match was on 05 July 2020.
Barca emerged 4-1 winners over the Yellow Submarine in a game which was played at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
