Belgium will take on Switzerland in an international friendly match at the King Power at Den Dreef Stadion on November 11.

The Red Devils edged out Iceland 2-1 in their previous game which was a UEFA Nations League match on 14 October 2020.

Prior to that clash, Belgium were winless in two matches across all competitions having recorded one draw and one defeat.

Their last defeat came on 11 October 2020 when they suffered a 2-1 loss to England in a UEFA Nations League match.
 
Roberto Martinez, the Belgium head coach, said that he was proud of what was essentially a second string Red Devils side for their win over Iceland.

“I am very satisfied with [Jeremy] Doku and [Leandro] Trossard. They have really grown a lot in the last week," Martinez said.
 
"They bring something extra, something that we did not have yet. They are young and inexperienced players, but they did well.

Meanwhile, Switzerland held Germany to a 3-3 draw in their previous match which was a UEFA Nations League encounter on 13 October 2020.

The draw extended the Red Crosses' winless run to five matches across all competitions having recorded three defeats and two draws. 
 
Their last win came against Gibraltar in November 2019 as they won 6-1 in a UEFA European Championship qualifier. 
 
The last meeting between Belgium and Switzerland was on 18 November 2018. The Red Devils secured a 5-2 win over the Red Crosses in a friendly match which was played at the Swissporarena in Luzern.
