Athletic Bilbao will square off with Cadiz in the
Spanish La Liga match at the San Mames Barria on October 01.
The Lions are coming off a 2-1 win over Eibar away in their previous league game which was played on September 27.

The win saw Bilbao end their three-match winless run in the league having recorded three successive defeats.
However, the Lions are winless in their last three home matches in the league having registered three consecutive defeats.
Gaizka Garitano, the Bilbao manager, feels that there is a lot of work to be done despite their win over Eibar.
“It’s good to win, but we need to keep working hard all the same,” Garitano said.
“We’ve only played two La Liga games and there’s a lot of work left to do. We have a winning mentality and we’re going to go for it against Cadiz.”

Meanwhile, Cadiz succumbed to a 3-1 defeat to Sevilla at home in their previous league encounter which was played on September 27.
The Yellow Submarine have been inconsistent in La Liga having recorded three defeats and two wins in their last five matches.
Cadiz defeated Huesca in their last away match and they returned to winning ways on the road having recorded two successive league defeats before the clash.
The last meeting between Bilbao and Cadiz in a league match was on 12 March 2006.
The Lions ran out 1-0 win winners over the Yellow Submarine in an encounter which was played at the San Mames Barria.
