Mainz 05 will face off with RB Leipzig in a
German Bundesliga match at the OPEL Arena on May 24.
The Carnival Club were held to a 2-2 draw by FC Cologne away in their previous match which was played on May 17.
The draw extended Mainz's unbeaten run to three matches in the league having registered one victory and two draws.
They are also undefeated in their last three home matches in the Bundesliga having recorded two draws and one win.
Meanwhile, Leipzig were frustrated by Freiburg in a 1-1 draw at home in their previous match which was played on May 16.
The draw extended the Red Bulls' unbeaten run to seven matches in the league having recorded five draws and two victories.
They are also undefeated in their last three away matches in the Bundesliga having recorded one win and two draws.
Julian Nagelsmann, the Leipzig manager, stressed the importance of collecting maximum points as they prepare for Mainz.

"Our goal is to finish within the top four positions, I've said this several times already," Nagelsmann said.
"However we still have eight games left, which we need and want to pick up points from.
"It was good for us at the end of the game that there was VAR; we have to be honest because we got lucky."
The last time Mainz took on Leipzig in a league match was on 2 November 2019. The Red Bulls brushed aside Carnival Club 8-0 in a match which was played at the Red Bull Arena.
