Max Verstappen will be eager to continue his dominance at the
Emilia Romagna Grand Prix by winning the event for a record-extending fourth time.

The Red Bull Racing driver failed to secure a podium spot at the Miami Grand Prix on 4 May, the most recent race on the 2025 Formula One World Championship calendar.
Verstappen started on the first grid, but he slipped up as he finished fourth, while finishing 17th in the sprint event, which saw him collect 12 points in Miami.
Formula One title ambitions
The former Toro Rosso driver is placed third in the World Drivers' Championship standings and is currently on 99 points.
Verstappen is 16 points behind second-placed Lando Norris of McLaren and 32 points behind leader Oscar Piastri of McLaren.
Why Verstappen could win the 2025 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix
The four-time Formula One champion has won three consecutive Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in 2021, 2022 and 2024 as the 2023 event was cancelled.
Verstappen, who won this season's Japanese Grand Prix, is a clear favourite to win this weekend's race due to his dominance in Imola over the years.
What did he say?
"It just wasn't good enough," Verstappen told Viaplay after the 2025 Miami Grand Prix.
“0.0 chance. Of course I did try something with those McLarens. I had nothing to lose anyway, so having a little fun. I couldn't make anything more out of it anyway.
“A virtual safety car, it can happen. It doesn't really matter if you finish third or fourth.”
