NBA Regular Season

The Utah Jazz will look to end their NBA Regular Season campaign on a high when they face hosts the Sacramento Kings at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California on Sunday 16 May 2021.

The Kings look set to end the Regular Season outside the top 10 of the Western Conference, and therefore miss out on keeping their campaign alive via the Play-in tournament.

Yet Sacramento remains capable of highly impressive performances, such as the one they demonstrated when defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder 126-98 earlier this week. Maurice Harkless says the Kings will take it game by game and see it as a bonus if they reach the Play-in phase.

"We're just going to focus on ourselves and handle our business," Harkless said. "Whatever happens around the league happens. In four games, if we're in a play-in game, we're in."

Utah have no such worries, with their place in the Playoffs long since confirmed. The Jazz are sitting pretty at the top of the Western Conference and racked up a 50th win of the Regular Season this past weekend, though Monday saw a 119-116 defeat to the Golden State Warriors which is a reminder that nothing is guaranteed.

"I thought the half-court defence did a really good job containing Steph [Curry] and these guys," said Utah's Rudy Gobert. "It comes down to the details. I think it was a good test for us. We came up short. We might see them again [in the Playoffs]."

"I thought we had some turnovers that ended up in easy buckets for them. That's what I told our guys," Jazz coach Quin Snyder added.
