Francesco Bagnaia will be keen to get his bid to win the 2025 MotoGP world title back on track by winning the
Czechia MotoGP.

The Ducati Lenovo Team rider claimed a podium spot at the German MotoGP on July 13, the most recent event on the 2025 MotoGP calendar.
Bagnaia started second on the grid and went on to finish third, while also finishing 12th in the sprint race, which saw him collect 16 points from the event.
MotoGP title ambitions
The former Honda NSF250R rider is still placed third in the 2025 MotoGP Riders' standings, having collected 197 points from 11 races.
Bagnaia is 64 points behind second-placed Alex Marquez of Ducati and 147 points behind the leader, Marc Marquez of Ducati.
Why Bagnaia could win the 2025 Czechia MotoGP
The two-time MotoGP world champion has been consistent on the podium, having secured back-to-back third-place finishes at the Dutch and German MotoGPs.
Bagnaia, who won this season's American MotoGP, will be looking to register his second victory of the season at Brno Circuit and boost his world title aspirations.
What did he say?
“Temperatures were lower than last year, but the conditions weren’t easy, with the wind and the reduced grip due to the rain," Bagnaia said after the 2025 German MotoGP.
"The front-end was particularly critical at turns 1, 12 and 13, but we managed things as best as we could. It seems like, no matter where I start, I always finish in third – and clearly, we need to change something.
"We’re making small steps forward, and while it’s not ideal, we recovered positions and scored important points, which is what matters most.”
