Davis Riley will be keen to become the second golfer to win back-to-back
Charles Schwab Challenge titles after Ben Hogan in 1952 and 1953.
What to know about Riley
The American turned professional in 2019 after he played in the Palmer Cup in 2018, compiling a 2–2 record in the American win over the International team.
Riley has won four professional tournaments including two which are part of the PGA Tour, while the other two came when he was competing in the Korn Ferry Tour wins.

The former Alabama Crimson Tide member was in action at the recent PGA Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, where he finished second.
Riley is currently placed 53rd on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR), and it is also his best overall ranking.
Why Riley is one of the favourites
The Hattiesburg, Mississippi-born golfer won the Charles Schwab Challenge for his first individual victory on the PGA Tour in May 2024.
Finishing second at the recent PGA Championship should boost Riley's confidence as he returns to the Colonial Country Club where he was crowned champion last year.

“It was a struggle at the start of the year, and I kind of had to find myself again,” Riley said after finishing second at the 2025 PGA Championship.
“And get comfortable on the golf course and start seeing windows and shots that I’m more accustomed to. I started to do it in practice more, and I’m starting to finally do it in competition. I’m really liking what I’m seeing and looking forward to defending next week.”
